My Personal Brand

The first step in career planning is self-assessment. 

My Personal Brand activities have been designed to assist students as they engage in the process of self-exploration. Learners will begin to identify skills, strengths, interests, and values and to explore compatible career pathways.

When discussing social media tools with students, terms of use for sites should be noted so that students are aware of how their personal information will be used and stored, and that sites like Facebook set a minimum sign up age of 13.  Strong connections with Information Communication and Technology outcomes should be made.  Use of social media tools with students should follow applicable legislation in your province.
